The Seventh Generation Building Guild (SGBG) is a group of like-minded individuals from the Mid-Willamette Valley who recognize that thoughtful design and construction practices lead to a higher quality of life for our communities. It promotes consideration of sustainability principles in the development of our communities’ natural, built, economic and social environment. This is achievable through conservation of valuable natural resources, educational outreach to members of our community, and supporting development which incorporates design and materials that positively impact the health or environment of its users.
SGBG partners with several other Corvallis organizations to promote green building methods and materials, and serves as a one-stop-shop for information about educational topics, events, networking opportunities, and examples of green buildings in Corvallis and Benton County.

FUNDING REQUEST
SGBG was recently granted 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status from the IRS and we are now actively seeking funding to help build our organization.
